Description
The Kansas City, Leather Firefighter Truck Belt
You are the first truck to arrive on scene of a single story residential structure fire. After you size up the scene and exit the rig, you notice Mrs. Selby in the front yard screaming that her baby is still in the house. With the quickness of a cheetah you strap on your truckie belt and sprint for the door.
As you approach the door you swiftly draw your flat head axe from the axe holder on your truck belt. With one mighty swing you smash the door off its hinges. As you enter the structure you are met with extreme heat and black smoke. You easily replace your axe into the truckman belt and get low and go.
Within seconds you are at the door to baby Jackson’s room, but the door is blocked. You decide it is best to breach the drywall to make entry into the room. Once again you draw your axe and go to work. In less than a minute you have made entry in to the room. On the screen of your TIC you can see something moving in the baby crib.
You arrive at the crib to find an 18 month old baby that weighs approximately 75 pounds. This is no problem as you smash out the window across from the crib, snatch up baby Jackson and exit the bravo side window in one giant leap.
As you exit the structure with the chunky baby you find the news is on scene and they have captured the entire rescue. Mrs. Selby is so delighted to get her little cookie demolisher back she asks you on a date, but you don’t have time for her. For you and your truck belt, it is all in a day’s work.
Later that night, as you watch your heroics on the news you learn the fire was started by careless handling of a Christmas tree. You were just glad that you were there and that you chose to buy the firefighter truck belt that you did.
