Description

The Custom Leather Firefighter Helmet Band is the cleanest way to put your name on your fire helmet without a full custom shield. Each band is hand-cut from a single piece of premium vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stamped with your text, paint-filled, and saddle-stitched into a closed loop sized to your exact helmet measurement.

This isn't a Velcro strap or a bungee band. The band is fully stitched closed and slides over the dome of your helmet from the top, seating against the brim. The fit is snug, the leather grips the shell, and the band stays put through hose pulls, ladder work, and overhaul. When you take the helmet off, the band stays with the helmet.

How To Measure Your Helmet

Wrap a flexible cloth tape or measuring tape around your helmet at the bottom edge of the dome, right where the band will sit (see the measurement photo in the gallery). Pull it snug but not tight. Round to the nearest inch and order that size. Most modern fire helmets — Cairns 1010/1044, MSA Cairns XF1, Phoenix TL-2, Bullard, Honeywell Morning Pride — fall in the 27" to 31" range.
